This policy memo advises the use of state-run Covid-19 molecular rapid test surveillance programs during the vaccine rollout period. I use a variety of modeling studies and test sensitivity data to draw conclusions. A key aspect to this piece is the rebranding of the rapid test and providing a better understanding of its limitation.

I wrote this piece while working for the Health Department during the covid-19 pandemic. During my time there I saw a lot of misinformation about test sensitivity and usage. I found I had a different view on rapid tests than my colleagues and wanted to explore the literature that has been published to back up my conclusion.
Infographic: Return to Work after COVID-19 Infection, Non-Healthcare Personnel
This infographic was done over the summer when the Covid-19 pandemic was still fresh and confusing. Many people were under the impression they needed to retest in order to return to work. My background knowledge about test sensitivity helped me clearly communicate return to work guidance in a clear and effective way.

You may be able to sense a theme, I am very interested in test sensitivity and the testing implications on the Covid-19 pandemic. I find myself explaining these ideas to a lot of people, and decided to adapt it to a visual form.
