Program Plan: COPA to Classroom

This program plan covers a proposed community intervention that brings mosquito breeding prevention community education to high school classrooms in the Ponce school district Puerto Rico.

This program plan was written for HPRB 4400 Health Promotion and Planning. This paper is pretty length, so I have included an excerpt below

This piece showcases my ability to:

• Develop a budget for a health intervention plan
• Incorporate evidence-based solutions to community programs
• Involve hypothetical stakeholders and address community needs

I choose to write this program plan while planning my summer internship in Puerto Rico to familiarize myself with the program I would be working with. This was also a great way for me to figure out what interventions are currently being done in Ponce, PR. You can access the paper here.
